Who We Are

Bailey Grace Closet Concierge LLC is a resale facilitation service. We assist individuals and clients in selling new or pre-owned clothing, accessories, and related goods on third-party marketplaces, such as Poshmark, Mercari, eBay, Depop, Grailed, and others. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, we do not take ownership of the inventory sold; we operate as an intermediary, helping clients price, list, market, and manage their resale transactions.

Scope of Services

Our services may include:

  • Evaluating and organizing client closets
  • Determining fair resale pricing based on marketplace trends
  • Creating and managing listings
  • Coordinating photography (either by us or by the client)
  • Handling buyer communications and shipping logistics
  • Facilitating payment disbursements (if applicable)

We offer multiple service tiers, which may affect who handles certain responsibilities (e.g., photos, shipping).

Consignment and Ownership

Unless otherwise noted, all items consigned remain the property of the client until sold. Clients grant us limited authority to:

  • Market and list their items on third-party platforms
  • Accept payment on their behalf (as permitted by platform rules)
  • Arrange shipping or transfers in fulfillment of those sales

We reserve the right to reject items we deem ineligible for resale or inconsistent with our brand standards or applicable platform policies.

Commission and Fees

We retain a commission on each sale based on the service tier selected. Our standard commission ranges from 25% to 50% of the net sales price (defined as the final selling price less platform fees and shipping costs), depending on the level of service provided. Commission rates for each service tier will be specified in the individual client agreement.

We also offer standalone services such as:

  • Closet Audits and Organization (hourly rate)
  • Styling Services (hourly rate + cost of sourced items)

Clients are not charged separate restocking, platform, or shipping fees unless otherwise specified in writing.

Sales Process and Platform Policies

We operate in accordance with the terms and conditions of each third-party platform used to facilitate a sale. This includes policies on returns, buyer protection, authenticity claims, and shipping.

In the event of a dispute or return initiated through a platform (e.g., Poshmark), the resolution will follow that platform’s policies. We do not offer separate return policies for platform-based transactions.

Intellectual Property and Content

All brand content on this website, including our logo, designs, and original photography, is the property of Bailey Grace Closet Concierge LLC. You may not use our content without prior written consent.

Some product listings may include vendor or manufacturer stock images. If you are the owner of any image and believe your rights have been violated, please contact us and we will take prompt action.

Authenticity and Counterfeit Policy

We do not knowingly list or sell counterfeit goods. While we employ reasonable efforts and industry practices to verify authenticity, we make no warranties or guarantees regarding authenticity unless an item has been professionally authenticated by an approved third-party authentication service.

Clients represent and warrant that all items provided for sale are authentic and genuine. Authentication is available on request for certain high-value items.

Taxes and Payment

Sales taxes for marketplace transactions are generally collected and remitted by the platforms themselves. For direct payments related to styling or closet services, we collect and remit sales tax in accordance with Connecticut law.

All revenue earned via third-party marketplaces is subject to 1099 reporting, and clients may be responsible for declaring earnings based on their total sales volume.

Client Responsibilities

Clients must ensure that any items provided for resale:

  • Are lawfully owned
  • Are free of counterfeit claims, encumbrances, or restrictions
  • Are in the agreed-upon condition

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and cooperating in listing creation (e.g., photos, measurements, or details as needed).

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Platform malfunctions, errors, or buyer behavior
  • Delays in shipping or transfer of payment caused by external systems
  • Loss, damage, or theft of items not in our possession

We make no guarantees regarding the timing or outcome of sales. Our maximum liability for any claim arising from this agreement shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by the client for the specific service in question. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Confidentiality and Non-Compete

We treat client information, sourcing strategies, and inventory data as confidential. We may include confidentiality or non-compete language in our client agreements if requested.

Modifications

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted signifies your agreement to those changes.
